Hello, I'm Mark, co-founder of Onion Training. I have spent nearly three decades in the software testing industry, building a career defined by technical precision and consistent demand.

My professional path began in the 1980s aboard HMS Repulse, where I first developed an interest in complex systems. This foundation eventually led me to work with some of the most recognisable names in technology and telecommunications, including Sony, Nokia, EE and Virgin.

In 1998, I moved into international contracting with Viag Interkom in Munich. This transition was a significant milestone, proving that software testing is a career that offers both professional stability and high financial rewards.

I co-founded this EdTech platform because testing is an area where skilled professionals are always needed. My goal is to pass on the expertise I gained at the highest levels of industry to the next generation of learners, showing them that software quality is a reliable and lucrative path in the digital economy.
