Hello, I'm Manjit, co-founder of Onion Training. My career in software testing spans over 25 years, during which I have worked alongside some of the world's most prominent brands, including Symbian, Nokia, Visa, O2 and Virgin.

My path into software testing began unexpectedly. In 1998, shortly after graduating from university, I was tasked with a three-month secondment to test a new billing system for Y2K compliance. That initial project proved to be a defining moment. It showed me the vital importance of software quality and testing.

What started as a temporary assignment became a lifelong career. I have spent the last two decades helping organisations ensure their systems are reliable and secure. I co-founded this platform to share that experience with students and career-changers, providing them with a clear, practical route into an industry that has been so rewarding for me.
