Tribal knowledge is the internal specifics of your application that live in your team’s heads rather than in any document. It’s the unwritten rules – why a particular field behaves the way it does, why a certain user flow was built that way, which edge case crashed production two years ago. AI has no access to tribal knowledge. It can only work with what’s been written down and shared with it.
